My passion is helping people create optimal health and prosperity, with a focus on honoring our sacred interconnection to all of life.
I began to study health in my teen years, reading books, and studying exercise through my own experiences as an athlete. In my mid 20s, I studied massage, yoga and alternative healing on the island of Maui, Hawaii. At the same time, my love of running and the outdoors led me to become a passionate long distance runner. I competed in many races and several marathons. These interests naturally evolved to studying health in college, and I earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Exercise Physiology from California State University Fullerton.
I’ve worked in the health and wellness field for over 24 years, beginning in 1985 in fitness centers and health screening programs. In the 1990s my career moved into worksite wellness programs, developing and managing programs to help employees improve their health, and helping companies improve their bottom line.
My mind/body/spirit approach to health and healing eventually led me to massage school, receiving my Certification as a Massage Practitioner in 1996. I continued with studies in Jin Shin Jyutsu energy healing, receiving my Jin Shin Jyutsu certification in 2004. Since 1996, I have helped many people improve their health and their lives through massage and Jin Shin Jyutsu energy healing. I also offer individual wellness consultations and group seminars.
